Wow, it didn't take as long this time!
As some of you might know, you can find all of my recs here at my delicious account. At the bottom of those post will be a copy/paste thing for you to comment with if you want me to read something and maybe put it on my rec list in the future.
Some of these are older, some of them may be newer. Shall we begin?
Again, if you have a story you think I'd love, feel free to leave a link here.

Alice
- Adventures of Hatter in Alice Land, The [location: livejournal]
- author:
emila_fig
pairing: Alice/Hatter
rating: FRC
summary: Life is a constant process of learnings, and Hatter's got his work cut out for him here. Luckily, Alice has a very soft tummy.
why: Even in our world, Hatter remains so very mad and funny. Though, I'm not sure Alice would think so after this story. - Conviction [location: livejournal]
- author:
crumpeteer
pairing: Alice/Hatter
rating: FRC
summary: Hatter is aware porkpie hats are not all the rage in America.
why: There is talk of love and hats. What more do you need? - Just the Way I'm Supposed to Be [location: livejournal]
- author:
la_victorienne
pairing: Alice/Hatter
rating: FRM
summary: the dawn is breaking, and it's a new day.
why: This is just a schmoopy, omgtheyloveeachother kind of fic. - A Lesson in Shopping [location: livejournal]
- author:
song_of_mars
pairing: Alice/Hatter
rating: FRT
summary: Hatter loves to go shopping with Alice for a very specific reason (namely, he's a letch)
why: Because I love both the idea of Hatter the Clothes Horse and Hatter dressing Alice up just to see her look sexy and take advantage of it. - Mad Moments [location: livejournal]
- author:
avaritia_90
pairing: Alice of Legend/Hatter Alice/Hatter
rating: FRT
summary: Blue had always been his favorite color. It reminded him of a girl, with long blond hair and blue eyes.
why: It's heavy with angst over how he let Alice of Legend down, while giving hope for a possible future with Just Alice. - Making the Man [location: livejournal]
- author:
kallific
pairing: Alice/Hatter
rating: FRC
summary: There's something off about Hatter, and Alice is going to do something about it.
why: Because, not only does Alice appreciate Hatter for all that he is, she's smart about getting him to go back to being how he truly wants to be and realizing that she doesn't want him to change for her.
Doctor Who
- Pollen [location: livejournal]
- author:
nostalgia_lj
pairing: Donna/Ten, mentions of River/Ten
rating: FRM
summary: The Doctor and Donna inhale alien sex pollen. Good thing they already had sexual tension, eh?
why: Because I love how Donna is extremely practical about it, and how she says she always knew they'd eventually have to have sex. Also, the fact that she straight up tells him they will be doing it again. Perfect.
Glee
- All the Cool Kids in the Back of the Bus [location: livejournal]
- author:
snoozin81
pairing: Puck/Rachel
rating: FRAO
summary: none given
why: Because it's hot and well written, IMO. - The Benefits of Honesty [location: livejournal]
- author:
becca_radcgg
pairing: Puck/Rachel
rating: FRM
summary: On the bus ride from Sectionals Puck takes his anger out on Rachel and a weird friendship develops.
why: Because it's a nice slow build, shows Puck has a hidden (almost) romantic side, and has Matt as a suprise Bangel shipper. - Do You Wanna Talk About It? [location: livejournal]
- author:
lektricityscape
pairing: Kurt/Puck
rating: FRT
summary: Puck and Kurt start chatting after football practice.
why: It's a nice slow build with a happy ending that doesn't seem wildly out of character. - Easy Girl [location: ff.net]
- author:
theberrifairy
pairing: Puck/Rachel
rating: FRM
summary: The end, the beginning and the middle. Puck knows it's not normal but he stops caring about that pretty quickly.
why: I'm a sucker for children saying inappropriate things and secret friendships turned secret relationships. While there are a couple of missed words and errors in it, it's not enough to really turn you away. - Gay Chicken Sucks [location: livejournal]
- author:
mundaneone
pairing: Kurt/Puck
rating: FRM
summary: Prompt/Kink: Kurt wears woman’s underwear
why: Not only is it hot, but it doesn't dismiss that Kurt would think that Puck was setting him up for some cruel game or prank. - In the Middle [location: ff.net] (takes place during "Easy Girl")
- author:
theberrifairy
character: Kurt
rating: FRC
summary: Kurt hates it when Mommy and Daddy fight. Implied Puck/Rachel An Easy Girl ficlet
why: While it shows Kurt and Rachel as friends (which is not how canon seems to be right now), it also has him as a snarky, bitchy, boy who is not afraid to manipulate people. Mostly, I just love the whole aspect of him playing 'mommy' and 'daddy' against each other. Same warning as for Easy Girl: while there are some missed words and errors, it's not enough to really turn you away. - It Goes Down Easy [location: ff.net] (sequel to "Easy Girl")
- author:
theberrifairy
pairing: Puck/Rachel
rating: FRT
summary: Forwards & backwards, then up & down. And the non-stop spinning. That's what it feels like. That's how they are together. Sequel to Easy Girl
why: I'm assuming this isn't complete, since it doesn't have 'complete' in the summary on ff.net, it's full of very cute inner monologues and funny moments. However, I have to warn you, there's is angst. Same warning as for Easy Girl: while there are some missed words and errors, it's not enough to really turn you away. - Sedative [location: livejournal]
- author:
soliloquyrain
character: Rachel
rating: FRM
summary: Rachel can't sleep.
why: Because girls do it too! - Sexting [location: livejournal]
- author:
blueowls
pairing: Brittany/Santana
rating: FRT
summary: "Brittany’s brow furrowed as she looked at the text Santana had sent her."
why: Brit-Brit may be dumb as a box of rocks, but she's adorable, and Brittany/Santana is my secondary OTP of this show. - Two Lost Souls Swimming in a Fish Bowl [location: livejournal]
- author:
of_hearts
pairing: Puck/Rachel
rating: FRM
summary: none given He didn’t know what he was fucking thinking, actually wanting to be this chick’s friend, but at this point, he didn’t really care.
why: Again, I have a big love for secret friendships turned secret more-than-friendships. It's very nicely paced, as well. - Zone Blitz [location: livejournal]
- author:
summerstorm
pairing: Rachel/Quinn
rating: FRAO
summary: Quinn loves the idea of dressing up in a boy's football uniform, but is embarrassed/ashamed. Rachel proves to her that her fantasy isn't weird, or abnormal.
why: 1) I have a thing for girls dressed up as boys, and 2) this was very hot, and feels very in character to me.
Harry Potter
- Light Years Away [location: livejournal]
- author:
trustingno1
Character: Harry
rating: FRC
summary: She goes back to Hogwarts ("Are you mad?" Ron demands, and her hands are already on her hips, and maybe things will never be normal again, but for now, it's close enough).
why: It's slow and subtle, and I love how much Harry gets when it comes to what Hermione's not saying in her letters.
Star Trek
- Cognitive Dissonance [location: livejournal]
- author:
taraljc
source: AOS
pairing: Number One/Pike
rating: FRAO
summary: Mirror Universe. What mattered to Number One was that she was strong enough to keep her position as first officer, and thus far she'd done exactly that without having to warm Captain Pike's bed. That grace period was over.
why: Part of me loves so much that, even in the Mirroverse, these two aren't dysfunctional with each other. It's all concenting and hot as can be. - Cowboys Lost At Sea [location: livejournal]
- author:
ayalecia
source: AOS
pairing: Kirk/McCoy
rating: FRAO
summary: Jim and McCoy are trapped, together and alone, in a strange world made up of their memories and desires. In a world where almost anything they want comes into existence, there is no hiding from their desires, each other, or themselves.
why: They're trapped in their own mind, and it's all very perfect/fucked up. Plus, they build the Enterprise and underwater basket weaving is mentioned! I'm easy like that. - Doctor Knows Best [location: livejournal]
- author:
ohownovel
source: AOS
pairing: Chapel/McCoy
rating: FRM
summary: none given
why: It's all hot, dark, and fucked up (though normal for Mirrorverse). - A Distraction of Planetary Proportions [location: livejournal]
- author:
tristesses
source: AOS
pairing: Earth/Vulcan
rating: FRAO
summary: Terra does not comport herself as a planet should. She smiles, she laughs, she is overly involved with her humans, and she won't stop touching him. Vulcan should disregard her presence entirely and concentrate on his diplomatic affairs, but she is very....distracting. He does not realize that this is merely the beginning.
why: It's well written, fantastically characterized, and extremely hot. Vulcan is just so very... Vulcan, and Terra is so very new and eager and emotional. - Five Kisses McCoy Gets from the Crew and One He Gives [location: livejournal]
- author:
jimpage363
source: AOS
character: McCoy, Ensemble
rating: FRC
summary: see the title, please.
why: It's both funny and heartbreaking. - Fragments in a Mirror [location: trektales.com]
- author: Cherpring and Jacqueline Bielowicz
source: TOS
pairing: Chapel/Spock
rating: FRM
summary: none given
why: I'm a sucker for Chapel/Spock stories, but especially those set in the Mirrorverse. - I Can't Ask For Things To Be Still Again [location: livejournal]
- author:
slash4femme
source: AOS
pairing: McCoy/Spock
rating: FRAO
summary: it's about the coming undone.
why: It's about kinky Spones fic, of course I love it! - Icarus in Retrospect [location: livejournal]
- author:
green_postit
source: AOS
pairing: Kirk/McCoy
rating: FRAO
summary: none give
why: Because it's a beautifully fucked up mirroverse version of Jones (I really need to stop using the mushed names). It's the ending that really seals the deal for me, though. - In Truth [location: livejournal]
- author:
mint_amaretto
source: AOS
pairing: Kirk/McCoy
rating: FRM
summary: It takes Kirk some time to notice that Bones is a little too good to be true.
why: While it's not a cross-over, it takes some ideas from a Dollhouse-type set-up. - Only Logical [location: livejournal]
- author:
djinn_fic
source: AOS
pairing: Chapel/Sarek, Chapel/Spock!Prime
rating: FRT
summary: She doesn't know why she's with him.
why: This made a pairing I originally couldn't see happening come out making so much sense. Spock Prime comes off a bit manipulative, but that's just Spock Prime, IMO. - Something Different [location: dreamwidth]
- author:
canon_is_relative
source: AOS
pairing: Kirk/McCoy
rating: FRM
summary: Thinking he's lost everything has a way of making Jim act on impulses he's been repressing for, oh, the past three years and nine months.
why: It's all angsty and unrequited. Though, part of me thinks that, if Jim had given a slightly different answer when Bones asked what he was doing, it may not have been so unrequited. - Things that the Enterprise Crew are No Longer Allowed to Do [location: livejournal]
- author:
kuroi_atropos
source: AOS
characters: Ensemble
rating: FRT
summary: Just a few of the things that the Enterprise Crew have tried.
why: It's far too funny.
