After you've opened FireFTP, click on Tools and choose Options... from the drop-down menu.

In the pop-up window, make sure 'Remember passwords' is checked. This will save you a lot of hassle.

In the first window on your FTP page, browse through until you've chosen the folder where your website is located on your computer. Now, click on the Create Account button in the top navigation. This is in a drop-down menu, so some of other option may be in the default space when you click on the button.

All of these are the same window, just different tabs. Please fill in your information where the red is. Also make sure to check 'Keep directories in sync while navigating' in the Connection tab. If you cannot while creating the account, you should be able to after the account has been created and you've connected to your website by clicking the Edit button in the top navigation strip.
