why: It's all sweet and fluffy and it brought a tear to my eye. I've got a serious soft-spot for daddy!McCoy and Kirk being great with Joanna

why: It's a very in-depth, thoughtful exploration of a small bit of bdsm. Just to warn, there's sounding and needleplay in this fic.

why: It's long, slow, and angsty as hell, but when it gets there, it's hot as can be.

why: This one could make me ship this couple so hard. It's written so beautifully, and it just seems natural and right.

summary: Sarek and Amanda, alone in a moment of the night. Inspired by the Mary Oliver poem "You do not have to be good / you do not have to walk on your knees / for a hundred miles through the desert, repenting./ You only have to let the soft animal of your body / love what it loves."
why: You can almost feel Sarek subtly changing his mindset to fit around Amanda. It's one of those small things that makes your breath catch.

why: You read this, and you will start to fall for T'Pring if you haven't already. What I really love about this is the closeness that T'Pring and Amanda shared. Beautiful!
